Without giving the story away, Tog loses everything precious to him in the world and has to travel deep into the dark heart of Britain to find it. For safety and speed, he travels by boat down the long rivers that snake through the countryside. But soon he finds that he’s not so safe and time is running out

I hope Heartless Dark is as good – I think it is but I would say that, wouldn’t I? Without giving too much away, Tog finds himself in deep trouble and has to get out of it. There’s more fighting in it than in I Am The Blade and it’s a bit darker.

Great writing. I loved the surge of the wave and the boat surfing down the river. Must buy the book first opportunity, perhaps later today!
